We handle local moves and anything in the lower 48 states for long distance.
Are you licensed and insured?
We are licensed and insured.
Do you charge a flat or hourly rate?
We do hourly billing, but try to setup most move with a bing estimate.
What happens if my belongings are damaged?
By law we covered damaged goods at .60 cents per lb unless client purchases additional insurance which we offer.
How much should I tip my movers?
Tips range from $50 to $100 a guy on average.
Can I arrange a move without me being there?
We have performed moves where clients do not need to be present.
What does Flat Bid Moving LLC company not move?
There are not many limitations on what we can move.
What happens if I need to reschedule?
There are no penalties or financial obligations to our clients for rescheduling moves.

Not only did they knock out our move in record time (way under the time estimate), but were so lovely to work with. I had clients who had an unusual collection of delicate items that needed to be carefully prepared for a long distance move. In another instance, I called Carlos in a panic when the "other guy" movers booked by our client didn't show up. First of all, WOW! Carlos, owner of Flat Bid Moving, came thru for me in a huge way - literally at the last minute - when another "moving company" completely dropped the ball. I was moving from AZ to the East Coast and somehow Carlos was able to organize a truck and local movers on each end only 5 DAYS BEFORE MY MOVE! I cannot say enough good things about this company. The company itself is obviously focused on excellent customer service, communication, & efficiency without losing quality. Amazing company, helped with a last minute move with a last minute change. The three movers they sent, led by George, were phenomenal. We’ve done 5+ moves over the years, with some great moving companies. George and his team STOOD OUT. They were punctual, kind, and extremely professional. I would say we have a LOT of stuff for a two bedroom condo so I was nervous about having the move done before our baby was out of daycare, but the team made it happen!! We got in touch with Flat Bid Moving through Mi-Box Storage. Faith [Mi-Box] suggested that we call Carlos [Flat Bid Moving] for a company that would cater to our needs. We wanted a company that would move furniture to a storage unit that might be on our driveway for one month or six months, depending on if our HOA started to breath down our necks. Construction took six months and Flat Bid returned to move the furniture back into the house, as well as to move the furniture in the house to new locations within the house. Some of our furniture, like two wooden heavy executive desks were difficult to move [one of them damaged a wall when initially moved by a different company], and we have a narrow stairway, so we thought we'd need three people, but Carlos figured that two would work and he sent the right two: Josh and RJ. They spent a few hours moving the furniture here and there and were super-duper responsive to changes in locations during the move. Hats off to Carlos and his team. Great job and thanks a bunch.

I was really happy with the moving process right up until the moving was done and I was looking at the damage done to my walls and doorways from the movers and the multiple pieces of furniture that were broken by the movers. The guys were super nice and I even tipped them each $40 because I hadn't yet seen all the damage done along the way. When I reached out to Carlos the very nice guy turned into cold and short and didn't even seem to care about the damage done. I wouldn't use or recommend this place again.

The guys helped reassemble anything that was disassembled during the move, which was a huge relief for me! I also had a lot of specialty equipment for my work that is very delicate, and they were respectful with my equipment, and were very open for communication about my concerns for specific pieces. When some glass from a frame was accidentally broken, they quickly reassured me that they would pay for a replacement. Once I replaced the glass, they promptly sent me the $ to cover the cost, no hassle. Overall, I'm really happy to have had their help with my move! I'd definitely recommend them, and would 100% use them again.

We just had an excellent experience with Flat Bid Moving last week. Carlos Diaz coordinated the move and was very responsive every time I e-mailed him - he sent a quote very quickly and set up a date for the move. The quote was very fair - half the price of other moving companies in our area. We were having some furniture moved from the San Diego area to Phoenix, Arizona. The movers showed up right on time to load up the furniture, then the next day the furniture was delivered on time in the morning to our home in Phoenix. Easy! So much better to have a small mover do a direct door to door move. All of the movers were professional and protected all of our furniture very well, including a glass table top and a large mirror. Everything arrived in perfect condition. Thanks to Carlos, Keith and everyone else who did such a great job with our move!

I've moved 17 times in my adult life and this company is definitely the best. Carlos came over to our 2 bed 2 bath apartment and gave us a quick quote that was in line with the quotes we received from other companies. He was very professional and we liked that they use expert movers on salary. The crew came over on a Friday to pack everything and then Saturday to load and move it into storage for us. We listened to reggae together and I packed up my travel bags while they packed the rest of our stuff. Really nice guys, very experienced too. When we got the keys to our first home a few months later they did an excellent job unloading the boxes and furniture. They labeled things well which helped us know what rooms to put the appropriate boxes in. The crew that moved us in was different, but equally friendly, professional, and quick. 2 massive storage containers were unloaded in a few hours. I highly recommend using these guys for your moving needs. They helped us find a great storage company that they loaded our stuff into too (mi box was the name I believe). All of our valuables were undamaged due to their great packing. You won't go wrong with them!

Amazing service and communication. One of my friends refered me to and I spoke to Carlos about my situation, move from San Diego to Stockton, about a 500 mile move. We scheduled it but had to push it back and it wasn't a problem. The rate was the best compared to other movers with no hidden fees, price quote was what I paid. I cannot recommend them enough. Tiko made the drive and kept in communication with us and was on time for the pick up and drop off. If has to do it again, I would use them without a second though. Thank you so much!
