We just used Flat Bid this weekend to move from one apartment to another across town. I cannot say enough about the experience. We had the amazing team of Carlos, Jesus and Jorge. Not only did they knock out our move in record time (way under the time estimate), but were so lovely to work with. They made what could have been a daunting, stressful experience into a so quick and easy one. The team managed every detail and treated all of our stuff with care. It was insane to watch how quickly they took care of business, quite the well oiled machine.We absolutely recommend Flat Bid for anyone moving who wants to make the experience simple and seamless. As a Realtor in San Diego, I see the stress and struggles encountered with planning a move. I had clients who had an unusual collection of delicate items that needed to be carefully prepared for a long distance move. Carlos and his team understood how important the items were to the client and recommended appropriate packing and transport solutions to make sure the items were treated with care and would arrive undamaged at the new residence. In another instance, I called Carlos in a panic when the "other guy" movers booked by our client didn't show up. Carlos scrambled a team and had a truck at the house within hours to load and move, keeping the move-out-day on schedule. I appreciate their professionalism, efficiency and above all their polite and helpful attitude. Its refreshing to deal with a company that treats clients with respect and care and takes pride in maintaining a good reputation.

First of all, WOW! Carlos, owner of Flat Bid Moving, came thru for me in a huge way - literally at the last minute - when another "moving company" completely dropped the ball. I was moving from AZ to the East Coast and somehow Carlos was able to organize a truck and local movers on each end only 5 DAYS BEFORE MY MOVE! I cannot say enough good things about this company. The company itself is obviously focused on excellent customer service, communication, & efficiency without losing quality. Each mover was professional, addressed me by my first name, took great care of all items, packed the truck well so that I had no damages, and were overall so pleasant to work with. Carlos and his company kept me updated on times and details and always made me feel like I mattered. Also, the price that I was quoted in the beginning was exactly the price I paid at the end! Amazing company, helped with a last minute move with a last minute change. The three movers they sent, led by George, were phenomenal. We’ve done 5+ moves over the years, with some great moving companies. George and his team STOOD OUT. They were punctual, kind, and extremely professional. They moved our furniture with the precision of a surgeon (while being considerably gentler and more thoughtful). George and his team went above and beyond in assembly, finished the move with considerable time to spare, and treated us like family. Actually, better than family: “sit back, don’t lift a finger, and please enjoy your move” was an actual quote. I cannot recommend their professionalism, expertise, and work ethic enough.

Moving is never easy, but Flat Bid made the entire process seamless.I was referred to Flat Bid; owner Carlos came out promptly to do an in-person walkthrough and provided a same-day quote. I hired them for both packing and moving services, and I couldn’t be more pleased. Jesus was the lead and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with over the course of two days. I would say we have a LOT of stuff for a two bedroom condo so I was nervous about having the move done before our baby was out of daycare, but the team made it happen!! They disassembled our beds, wrapped up all of our things, moved, assembled everything back together and placed them exactly where we asked them to. They had efficiency nailed down! Carlos and his team handled our move after a long and exhausting remodel. After all the stress, the professionalism and efficiency of his team made the move itself the easiest part of the process. Carlos came out for our initial estimate and was available to answer my questions leading up to moving day, even replying within 30 minutes on a Sunday. I love that our fee was a fixed rate so there were no surprises (not the case with our contractors!).On the day of our move, Tiko and his team (Jesus, Andres, Javier, Horacio) were polite and meticulous, even moving items multiple times in our new home until we were satisfied with the placement. Packing Day was very thorough and detailed. It was very helpful being packed with a newborn at hand. Moving day went smooth, but felt a bit rushed which caused items to be situated in different rooms. We got in touch with Flat Bid Moving through Mi-Box Storage. Faith [Mi-Box] suggested that we call Carlos [Flat Bid Moving] for a company that would cater to our needs. We wanted a company that would move furniture to a storage unit that might be on our driveway for one month or six months, depending on if our HOA started to breath down our necks. Construction took six months and Flat Bid returned to move the furniture back into the house, as well as to move the furniture in the house to new locations within the house. Some of our furniture, like two wooden heavy executive desks were difficult to move [one of them damaged a wall when initially moved by a different company], and we have a narrow stairway, so we thought we'd need three people, but Carlos figured that two would work and he sent the right two: Josh and RJ. They spent a few hours moving the furniture here and there and were super-duper responsive to changes in locations during the move. Hats off to Carlos and his team. Great job and thanks a bunch.

Their team did not damage anything and the move was flawless.I would recommend these folks highly. For note, their pricing was in the middle of the pack and for our move (larger house, etc) it was competitive and worth more tha. Lower bids due to their care of your items.

I was really happy with the moving process right up until the moving was done and I was looking at the damage done to my walls and doorways from the movers and the multiple pieces of furniture that were broken by the movers. The guys were super nice and I even tipped them each $40 because I hadn't yet seen all the damage done along the way. When I reached out to Carlos the very nice guy turned into cold and short and didn't even seem to care about the damage done. I wouldn't use or recommend this place again.

They disassembled and reassembled all the bed frames, couches, dining tables and patio furniture. And place them exactly where they needed to go at my new house. As well as countless boxes, weight racks, sauna, TVs etc. They were efficient yet delicate and protected my furniture so things arrived perfect. 5 star service and an incredible flat rate.

These guys were great! Getting a quote and scheduling was very quick and no fuss, which is a big part of why I booked them. They arrived promptly, on time, the day of our move, and were quick and efficient throughout the entire day. The guys helped reassemble anything that was disassembled during the move, which was a huge relief for me! I also had a lot of specialty equipment for my work that is very delicate, and they were respectful with my equipment, and were very open for communication about my concerns for specific pieces. When some glass from a frame was accidentally broken, they quickly reassured me that they would pay for a replacement. Once I replaced the glass, they promptly sent me the $ to cover the cost, no hassle. Overall, I'm really happy to have had their help with my move! I'd definitely recommend them, and would 100% use them again.

We just had an excellent experience with Flat Bid Moving last week. Carlos Diaz coordinated the move and was very responsive every time I e-mailed him - he sent a quote very quickly and set up a date for the move. The quote was very fair - half the price of other moving companies in our area. We were having some furniture moved from the San Diego area to Phoenix, Arizona. The movers showed up right on time to load up the furniture, then the next day the furniture was delivered on time in the morning to our home in Phoenix. Easy! So much better to have a small mover do a direct door to door move. All of the movers were professional and protected all of our furniture very well, including a glass table top and a large mirror. Everything arrived in perfect condition. Thanks to Carlos, Keith and everyone else who did such a great job with our move!

I've moved 17 times in my adult life and this company is definitely the best. Carlos came over to our 2 bed 2 bath apartment and gave us a quick quote that was in line with the quotes we received from other companies. He was very professional and we liked that they use expert movers on salary. The crew came over on a Friday to pack everything and then Saturday to load and move it into storage for us. We listened to reggae together and I packed up my travel bags while they packed the rest of our stuff. Really nice guys, very experienced too. When we got the keys to our first home a few months later they did an excellent job unloading the boxes and furniture. They labeled things well which helped us know what rooms to put the appropriate boxes in. The crew that moved us in was different, but equally friendly, professional, and quick. 2 massive storage containers were unloaded in a few hours. I highly recommend using these guys for your moving needs. They helped us find a great storage company that they loaded our stuff into too (mi box was the name I believe). All of our valuables were undamaged due to their great packing. You won't go wrong with them!

Amazing service and communication. One of my friends refered me to and I spoke to Carlos about my situation, move from San Diego to Stockton, about a 500 mile move. We scheduled it but had to push it back and it wasn't a problem. The rate was the best compared to other movers with no hidden fees, price quote was what I paid. I cannot recommend them enough. Tiko made the drive and kept in communication with us and was on time for the pick up and drop off. If has to do it again, I would use them without a second though. Thank you so much!

Flat Bud Moving is the best!!! I’ve used these guys for all of my moves. Most recently I needed help with a one way move from Cali to AZ. Not only was their rate competitive, but they were on time, worked quickly, took excellent care of my belonging and had my new house unpacked and setup in no time. I highly recommend these guys!!
